Request an Inspection

Please fill out the web form below to request an inspection. You should receive an email confirmation once your request has been processed. We will endeavour to meet your requested time. Please contact our office on (02) 6113 9907 if you do not receive confirmation the afternoon before the requested time

Where applicable, please provide the ID survey after slabs are poured and ensure they have been provided prior to building work proceeding above Damp Course

If you are requesting a pre-sheet inspection we will require a copy of the frame, truss and bracing plans prior to the inspection.

If you are requesting a final inspection ensure that power is available in order to test smoke alarms

24 hours notice is required for inspection requests. If the requested inspection time is available, a $330 short notice fee may be charged where inspections are booked without sufficient notice (Monday inspections must be booked by 2pm the Friday before).

Our staff will be in touch the afternoon before your requested inspection date to confirm attendance.

By placing an inspection booking you are nominating the finalisation of a building stage for your development. Ensure that all details are correct.

BUILDING (GENERAL) REGULATION 2008 - REG 34

Offence —building work above damp-proof course level

   (1) A building licensee in charge of building work commits an offence if the licensee—

(a) does building work above damp-proof course level; and
(b) the building work is not within a prescribed exception; and
(c) fails to ensure that the certifier has received—

(i) a plan signed by a registered surveyor stating the position of the building in relation to the boundaries of the parcel of land where the building is to be erected and stating the level that the floor, or floors, of the building will have in relation to a level stated in the approved plans; or

(ii) for building work on an original building on original land—the original survey plan.
